What We Do

Helping to Stabilize Ukrainian Refugees in Central Washington

We help Ukrainian refugees in Central Washington to secure housing and basic needs, find employment, get immigration legal support, and integrate with their new communities.

Securing Housing & Basic Needs

We work to secure housing for Ukrainian refugee families moving into our region. This would not be possible without the financial and material support of families in Grant, Douglas, and Chelan counties, as well as the cooperation of generous landlords who want to help these families.

In addition to housing, we help families with rent, furnishings, food, basic necessities, medical care, transportation costs, immigration attorneys, school enrollment, ESL tutoring, interpreters, and more.

Finding Employment

From photographers to caretakers to mechanics and manual laborers, the Ukraine refugees who have arrived in the region are all taking English classes and have marketable skills.

The refugees who are here have all come with their families. Some are mothers with children whose husbands and fathers had to stay and fight. Giving them an opportunity to provide for themselves is more than charity because they are hardworking and driven.

If you would like to provide an employment opportunity to one or more, please contact us.

Introducing and Integrating with Community

Through social events, concerts, and informal get-togethers, we’re helping refugees from the war in Ukraine create bonds of community in a new country.
